Ihor Netudykhatkin

Managing director of subdivision “St. Andrew’s Church” Museum under the National Preserve “St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv”.

MA in History, graduate of the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University (2007). In 2011 defended his PHD thesis on “Ukrainian donor portraits of the 16th-18th centuries as a source of historical data”.

Since 2011 has been working at the National Preserve “St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv”.

Has authored over 50 research papers, including a number of books, namely “St. Andrew’s Church at the time of Abbot Fiodor Titov (1896-1918)” [Kyiv, Summit Knyha Publishing 2016], “Traditional cuisine of the Kyiv Metropolitan Bishops in the 17th -18th centuries: menus, recipes, and dining protocols” [Kyiv, Horobetz Publishing, 2018], and “Mosaics of St. Andrew’s Church” [Kyiv, Lybid Publishing, 2019].

A new article by Ihor Netudykhatkin examines the dishes served during convent banquets, famous Kyiv desserts, and some of the most popular beverages of the 17th century.
