The Centre for Food Studies conducts research in the field of gastronomy by studying links between culture and food. The Centre applies multidisciplinary approach to the research and engages sociologists, cultural anthropologists, historians, experts on folklore, and other specialists.
The Centre aims to promoting food studies in Ukraine by creating demand for qualified research which is beneficial to both the private companies and the government sector.
