Svitlana Bohdanets

Literary critic, researcher of food semantics and visual images in culture, stemming from the Medieval culinary utopias to food eroticism in modern advertising. 

Bohdanets participates in scientific conferences, holds public lectures at the Book Arsenal in Kyiv, the Publishers’ Forum, Kyiv Comic Con, Comic Con Ukraine, and Symbolon Project.

Bohdanets has authored a number of research articles on food imagery in Ukrainian literature. 

Co-founder and project manager at the Centre for Food Studies, a non-profit organisation.
